काठमाडौं । भारत सरकारले नेपालसँग कुनै सीमा बिबाद भए कुटनीतिक तबरबाट समस्या समाधान गर्न तयार रहेको भन्दै नयाँ निर्माण भएको सडक भारतीय भूमिमा नै रहेको बताएको छ ।
भारतको बिदेश मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता अनुराग श्रीवास्तबले भर्खरै शिलान्यास गरिएको सडक भारत उत्तराखण्डको पिथौरागढ जिल्लाभित्र पर्ने भन्दै उक्त सडक भारतीय भूमि भित्रै रहेको स्पष्ट पारेका हुन् । उक्त सडक यसअघि देखि नै मानसरोभर यात्राका लागि तिर्थयात्रीहरूबाट प्रयोग भईरहको भन्दै सोही सडकलाई तिर्थयात्राका लागि अझ सहज होस भनेर स्तरउन्नति गरिएको भारतले जनाएको छ ।
यता, नेपाल र भारत बीचको सीमा सम्बन्धि बिषयका लागि संयन्त्र बनिसकेको भन्दै त्यसका लागि धमाधम काम अघि बढिरहेको समेत भारतले जानकारि दिएको छ । सीमा सम्बन्धि दुई देशबीचको बिषयलाई कुटनीतिक छलफल र अनन्य निकट छिमेकीको भावना तथा बअुआ
आयामिक सम्बन्धका आधारमा टुँगोमा पूर्याउन भारत प्रतिबद्ध रहेको समेत प्रवक्ता श्रीवास्तबले बताएका छन् ।
दुबै देशका बिदेश मन्त्रालयका सचिवहरूको बैठकको मिति तय हुने प्रक्रियामा रहेको र दुबै तर्फबाट मिति तय भएसँगै कोरोना भाईरस सँक्रमणको आपतकालिन अबस्था अन्त्य भए पश्चात् नेपाल भारतको सिमा बिषय सफलतापूर्वक निष्कर्षमा पुग्ने भारतले जनाएको छ ।

In response to queries on inauguration of road on 8th May in Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, the Official Spokesperson stated the following:
We have seen the Press Release dated 9th May 2020 issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal pertaining to the inauguration of a road in India.
The recently inaugurated road section in Pithoragarh district in the State of Uttarakhand lies completely within the territory of India. The road follows the pre-existing route used by the pilgrims of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Under the present project, the same road has been made pliable for the ease and convenience of pilgrims, locals and traders.
India and Nepal have established mechanism to deal with all boundary matters. The boundary delineation exercise with Nepal is ongoing. India is committed to resolving outstanding boundary issues through diplomatic dialogue and in the spirit of our close and friendly bilateral relations with Nepal.
Both sides are also in the process of scheduling Foreign Secretary level talks which will be held once the dates are finalised between the two sides after the two societies and governments have successfully dealt with the challenge of COVID 19 emergency.
